About Softnecks…

Softnecks are almost a world unto themselves in comparison to hardneck varieties that we predominately grow. A friend gifted us two varieties a few years ago and they’ve been a part of our personal stash ever since, with exceptional storage, large bulb sizes and the ability to make into beautiful braids they’ve found a permanent place in our fields and home. While most garlics available in your local grocery stores are softneck varieties (commonly California White & California Early) the varieties we offer are far superior in flavor and will quickly find a place in your garden and pantry. The one big drawback to Softnecks are the smaller inner ring of cloves in the center of the bulb, compared to the larger single ring of cloves common in hardnecks.
